How to make your own brand with AI

A step-by-step on how to go from a logo (or nothing at all) to a full, consistent brand kit. Make a copy and fill in the blanks as you go!

Hey, I'm Aerin! Thanks for coming over from my video 🌟

AI makes it so easy to generate images now, but building an actual brand is the harder (and more fun!) part. Let me show you how I do it.

So to start, you'll need a tool: I make all of mine in Clova (I like it because it remembers your brand so everything stays consistent) But honestly, everything here works with whatever you like!

The goal

Go from a logo - or nothing at all - to a full brand kit: consistent images, product shots, and assets that actually look like one brand.

Here's Hugo, filled out (use it as a model - the more specific you are, the better your results. And this works the same for any product: coffee, skincare, pet, whatever you're building):

💡 Before you continue: your first try won't be your final one - and that's exactly how it's supposed to work. Building a brand with AI is a back-and-forth, not a vending machine. Try something, react, adjust, and try again! The good stuff almost always shows up after a few rounds.

Step 1. Teach the AI your brand

Drop in your logo and any brand images you have. No logo yet? Just describe your brand and let it design one. This is how the AI learns your brand: the colors, shapes, personality - so it keeps everything consistent later.

Don't rush this step. Whatever you give it here becomes the foundation for everything else. Once it gets your brand, every shot after this inherits the same look automatically. So if it's not quite right yet - don't settle! Keep going until you love it. Getting this right is what makes everything after it feel effortless. 😊

Getting the starting point right: before any cups or cans existed, I gave the AI three things - the wordmark (chunky, bubbly hand-drawn "HUGO." in black), the mascot (a lilac spotted cow in simple line-art), and the color palette (lilac, black, cream). Once it had those, everything else came out on-brand.

💡 Notice how much thinking went into those three pieces before a single image? That's the real secret: the AI makes it consistent, but you decide what's good. Your taste will always be the differentiator!

Step 2. Add your product

Now moving on, let's get your art onto some products!

Upload a photo of your product, or have the AI generate it if you don't have one yet. Plain is fine - you'll make it look good in the next step.

Hugo's product shots: No worries if you don't have any clean product photo yet - for Hugo, I just asked: "Generate a plain Hugo coffee cup, white background, no scene." The perfectly on brand cups came out: lavender paper, cow-horns logo, bubbly wordmark - clean and ready.

Step 3. Ask for the shots you want

Now this is my favorite part – creating the world! Tell the AI what you want - lifestyle scenes, angles, texture (ex. film grain, hard flash). Since it already knows your brand, your product shows up correctly branded every time. A few Hugo prompts to show you how I got the below shots:

"Hugo iced matcha latte in a clear cup on a granite cafe counter, a hand pouring bright green matcha, espresso machine blurred behind, warm moody lighting, candid film-photo look with grain"
"Hugo white coffee cup with the lilac cow logo, on a tiled counter next to a plush lavender cow toy, cozy warm lighting, 35mm film aesthetic"
"Three Hugo canned coffees held in two hands against a black background, bold bubbly logo and lilac cow, direct flash, editorial product shot"

💡 Notice the recipe: what it is + where it is + lighting/mood + style. The AI already knows your look, so you just describe the scene - it keeps the brand consistent for you. Easy once you see it!

Don't love it yet? Keep going 🔁

This is the part most people quit at - and it's exactly where to keep going. If the first shots aren't right, you're not doing it wrong. Refining IS the process.

Ready to DIY? I made you a starting point.

The hardest part when you're new isn't the tool - it's the blank canvas. So I built you one that isn't blank.

It's a library of 8 looks I use (hard flash, warm cafe, golden hour, and more), each already built out across real brands, with the exact prompts that made them. Pick the vibe that feels like your brand, drop your logo in, and swap it to yours.

Step 4. You've got the start of a brand! 🤩

That's it - you've got a logo, product shots, the whole look, all consistent and all yours!

But here's what others miss: the images were the easy part. The stuff that actually makes a brand stick is the part you can't just prompt:

That's taste and strategy. It's the difference between "AI images" and a brand people actually fall for. And if building all that yourself feels like a lot - honestly, it is. That's exactly what I'm here for.

Want it done for you?

Making the images is one thing. Building a brand people fall for - the positioning, the story, the whole world - is another. That's what I love doing!

If you'd rather skip the trial-and-error and have a real brand built for you, come say hi:
